Todays post is going to be a little layout share of some of the layouts i created with my like forever kit

this is the first time I've received the kit and i absolutely adore it! its so worth the money! 

the main papers in this kit where simple stories carpe diem collection & illustrated faith she blooms collection! 

Project life layout week 22

Hi guys today I created another project life layout, I'm really enjoying creating these layouts. 

For this layout I used some cards from 5th and frolic and some embellishments from my studio calico kit 

Zig Letter Pen Cocoiro & Sakura Soufflé

Hi there this is a little mini review / first impression of the zig letter pens & Sakura soufflé pens that I got recently. One of my journals is the hobonichi so it's important both pen sets work well on the paper and that there is no bleed through 

Firstly the Sakura Soufflé pens - I noticed that there was no bleed through but the black with it being very pigmented did ghost through a little the drying time was around 10 minutes they did write very smoothly though some colours done show as well such as the green. 

And they show up on black paper too

Zig letter pen Cocoiro 

I have only had these pens a few days, so I don't feel I can give an accurate review however on first impression the nibs are very stiff. Over time though they will soften out. I'm not the best at calligraphy either but the colours are really pretty. Again only slight ghosting with the super thick black ink 

Overall I'm very happy with both purchases and would recommend them both.

I've loved scrapping for many years but project life has quickly become my favourite method, I did project life last year and loved it. However I dropped the ball a little this year, but I have journaled and I have all the pictures so I will be going back to complete the first part of this year ! So this is my first layout of the year documenting last week! 

I recently started a studio calico subscription and my first kit was the Carolina moon kit, the first kit was free so I only paid shipping ! All items bar the gold thickers and the DIY flair  are from the studio calico kit :) to print the photos I used my Canon Selphy & LG pocket photo printer (which I'm quite impressed with) over all I'm really happy with this layout Although I wish I'd used a touch more black in the upper right hand corner  to balance it out a little
